Job Applicant Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Teamgeek (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects the personal information you provide when you apply for a job or role with us. We are committed to handling your data fairly and in line with applicable privacy laws.

Information we collect

When you submit an application through our careers form, we may collect:

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Resume or CV (and any other documents you upload)
  • Country, work authorization status, and visa sponsorship requirements
  • Optional information such as LinkedIn, GitHub, portfolio, or other links you provide
  • Any other details you choose to include in your application

How we use your information

We use your application data to:

  • Assess your suitability for the role you applied for
  • Contact you about your application and the recruitment process
  • Comply with legal or regulatory obligations
  • Improve our recruitment processes where permitted

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Who we share it with

Your information may be shared with people inside Teamgeek involved in hiring (e.g. hiring managers and HR). We may use trusted service providers (e.g. for email or cloud storage) who process data on our instructions. We require them to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

How long we keep it

We retain application data for as long as needed to complete the recruitment process and, if you are unsuccessful, for a limited period afterward so we can consider you for future roles (unless you ask us to delete it sooner). After that, we delete or anonymise your data in line with our retention policy.

Your rights

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Application data is transmitted and stored in a secure manner.
